I’m Darren, a passionate lighting consultant specialising in commercial projects. Building strong, meaningful relationships is at the heart of what I do. I believe every interaction should be a memorable experience, and I prioritise genuine connections over simple exchanges.

My journey into the lighting world began at 21 when I became a Lighting Technician on an Australian movie set. This exhilarating role immersed me in the creative process and revealed how lighting can dramatically transform spaces and evoke emotions.

After my time in film, I shifted into sales management within import wholesaling. This experience, while rewarding, presented challenges that taught me the importance of perseverance. Navigating complex negotiations and building relationships across Australia and Asia deepened my understanding of resilience and the value of trust.
In 2011, a strong urge to return to the lighting industry emerged. Joining Dynalite during a period of exciting technological advancements was a pivotal moment. Working on major projects like the Perth Children’s Hospital and the Scarborough Beach upgrades reignited my passion and solidified my commitment to the field.
In 2014, I took the leap to establish Elevage Lighting, driven by a vision to create a company centered around exceptional customer service. With a focus on four key pillars—manufacturing, consulting, design, and supply—Elevage Lighting is dedicated to ensuring that every project reflects a commitment to quality and innovation.
